John G. Troiano
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Troiano was most recently a Partner and a Managing Director of Onex Corporation in its New York office before founding TBG. As a senior investment professional at Onex, Mr. Troiano was involved with a number of Onex’s most successful investments including SKY Chefs, Celestica and the Hidden Creek Industries automotive industrial partnership. While at Onex, Mr. Troiano’s responsibilities included a leading role in all aspects of transaction development and management including acquisition, financing, acquisition integration and operational improvement initiatives. Onex Corporation is a diversified investment company with approximately $16 billion in aggregate revenues, $5 billion in total capital under management and approximately 71,000 employees in its subsidiaries (www.onex.com).

Prior to Onex, Mr. Troiano worked at Gleacher & Co., a mergers and acquisition boutique founded by Eric J. Gleacher, former worldwide head of M&A for Morgan Stanley & Co. and at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in its Merchant Banking and Investment Banking groups. Mr. Troiano has significant transactional experience in the consumer products, automotive, financial services, business process outsourcing, healthcare, industrial and technology, media and telecommunications industries. During his career, Mr. Troiano has worked in an advisory and a principal capacity with many companies including Siemens, GE, Dial, Texaco, Marsh & McLennan, American Airlines, Ford, Texas Instruments and IBM.

Mr. Troiano earned a Bachelors of Science in Economics, dual concentration in Finance and Accounting, summa cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his MBA from Harvard Business School. Mr. Troiano is involved with fundraising for Harvard Business School and various charitable organizations.

Andrew V. Marolda
Managing Director
Mr. Marolda has more than fifteen years of finance, accounting, corporate planning, and restructuring experience. Most recently he was a Director with American Express, leading pricing and financial analysis in its Global Corporate Services division. He also managed financial structuring and analysis for the company’s strategic equity investments and joint ventures.

Prior to American Express, Mr. Marolda held a number of diverse finance and accounting positions. As a CPA, he worked with Ernst & Young providing audit services for clients in the financial services sector. He subsequently joined Ernst & Young’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring practice, advising distressed companies in Chapter 11 reorganizations, debt refinancing and business divestitures. He has also worked with Philips Electronics in corporate planning and analysis, successfully developing intellectual property and product alliances with key strategic partners.

Mr. Marolda earned a Bachelors of Science cum laude in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and earned his MBA with distinction from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Clement S. Dwyer, Jr.
Managing Director
Mr. Dwyer has thirty-five years of operational and consulting experience in the insurance and financial services industries including the last ten years as a private equity investor in financial service companies.

Mr. Dwyer has served as an insurance industry advisor to Lazard Corporate Partners and Century Capital Management. He is currently a Director of Montpelier Re Holdings Ltd., Old American Insurance Investors and Dowling & Partners. Mr. Dwyer was the President of Signet Star Holdings, a reinsurance subsidiary of W.R. Berkeley Corporation. Prior to this, Mr. Dwyer served as Executive Vice President and Director of Guy Carpenter & Company and Head of North American Brokering Operations.

Mr. Dwyer earned a Bachelors of Arts degree from Tufts University.

Lex Wolf
Principal
Mr. Wolf was most recently a Senior Associate with Littlejohn & Co., and ACG, a family investment fund. While at Littlejohn & Co. and ACG, Mr. Wolf reviewed investment opportunities, conducted due diligence, structured and negotiated transactions, monitored portfolio company performance and worked closely with management teams to improve operations. Prior to this, Mr. Wolf served as the Assistant to the CFO of a public company. Mr. Wolf began his career as a Financial Analyst at Bowles Hollowell Conner & Co.

Mr. Wolf earned a BA in economics cum laude from Duke University and an MBA with honors from the Wharton School of Business.
