Mr. Smith has over 40 years of experience in the restaurant industry, including as President/COO of Chili’s. He was previously Chairman and CEO of Steak & Ale under Pillsbury, where he grew the concept to more than 400 restaurants and $750 million in sales. Mr. Smith currently leads Hal Smith Restaurant Group which operates 14 restaurant concepts in seven states with over 60 locations. Mr. Smith is a board member of Ted’s Café Escondido.
