Mr. Leal has over 25 years of experience in Consumer Products and Marketing Services.  In 2020, Mr. Leal co-founded SOMOS foods and currently serves as its Chief Executive Officer.  SOMOS foods manufactures, markets and distributes convenient and healthy Mexican food products through grocery, e-commerce, and other retail channels.  Prior to founding SOMOS foods, Mr. Leal held the role of Chief Marketing Officer of numerous highly successful private equity-backed Consumer Products brands, including Cholula Food Company, KIND bars, and Diamond Foods.  Mr. Leal started his career in progressive sales and marketing roles at Danone and PepsiCo.  Mr. Leal is a board member of TBG’s portfolio company, Condado Holdings Group, LLC, as well as Nom Nom, a fresh pet food business.
