The Beekman Group (“TBG”), a leading lower middle-market private equity fund based in New York, is pleased to announce that it has hired two associates, Neeraj Prathipati and Shaun Caesar, to join the firm’s investment team. These professionals, the first to join as part of TBG’s new Associate program, will focus on transaction execution and portfolio company management. “We are excited to welcome Neeraj and Shaun to our team and look forward to leveraging their insights and experiences as we continue to grow our investment platform and develop strong and experienced junior investment professionals,” said John Troiano, Managing Partner & CEO. TBG is committed to investing in its people and infrastructure.  Over the past eighteen months, the firm has hired several seasoned professionals to build out its platform and provide value-added resources to its industry advisors and portfolio management teams.   Our first two associates not only come with strong private equity experience but also with relevant industry sector investment experience.  Below is a summary of their backgrounds: Neeraj Prathipati, Associate – Prior to joining TBG, Mr. Prathipati served as an associate at Frazier Healthcare Partners, a middle-market healthcare private equity fund. During his tenure at Frazier, he was involved in transaction analysis and execution as well as working alongside portfolio companies in the healthcare services space. Before joining Frazier, Mr. Prathipati was an investment banking analyst at MTS Health Partners in New York, where he worked with middle-market healthcare services companies on a variety of corporate finance and merger and acquisition engagements. Shaun Caesar, Associate – Prior to joining TBG, Mr. Caesar served as an associate at Goode Partners, a middle-market private equity firm focused on consumer and retail investments. During his tenure at Goode Partners, he was responsible for transaction execution, financial analysis and portfolio company management. Prior to Goode Partners, Mr. Caesar worked at Wells Fargo Securities in the Consumer and Retail Investment Banking Group in New York, NY, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising for a number of middle market, Fortune 500 and private equity clients.
