Mr. Brown is a Managing Director of TBG. Mr. Brown has 20 years of experience in private equity, senior and subordinated debt investing and finance. Mr. Brown is a member of the Investment Committee and has responsibility for sourcing, evaluating, executing and monitoring TBG’s investments in Business Services. Mr. Brown is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fluent and a member of the Boards of Directors of Elite ISI, REVA, Convenient Brands and GED Holdings.

Prior to joining TBG, Mr. Brown was a Principal at Patriot Capital Funding and its successor by merger, Prospect Capital Corporation. While at Patriot and Prospect, Mr. Brown sourced and led over 20 debt and equity investments in lower middle-market companies. Prior to joining Patriot, Mr. Brown was a Vice President in GE Capital’s Global Sponsor Finance group, where he executed and monitored numerous debt investments in middle-market companies. Mr. Brown began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and spent time in both the Assurance and Transaction Services practices.

Mr. Brown received a Bachelor of Science in Business at Lehigh University and an MBA with honors from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
