The Beekman Group (“TBG”) is pleased to announce that Edward Niemczyk has joined the firm as a Senior Associate. Edward brings over ten years of investment and financing experience to TBG and will be responsible for transaction execution and analysis, opportunity sourcing, and portfolio company management. Prior to joining TBG, Edward served as a Vice President at Cordova, Smart & Williams, LLC (“CSW”), a lower middle-market private equity fund, which he joined in 2006. During his tenure at CSW, he was involved in transaction sourcing, acquisition structuring and financing and working alongside portfolio company management teams in lower middle-market consumer and industrial service companies. Previous Board of Directors experience included Berkshire Blanket, H2O Plus and The Sqwincher Corporation. Prior to joining CSW, Edward was an Associate at GE Global Sponsor Finance where he was responsible for evaluating and executing debt financings for a wide range of financial sponsor backed transactions. Edward holds a Bachelor of Arts from Franklin & Marshall College and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
